Tyanus
is the official publication of the Broad Initiatives for Negros Development.
The term "Tyanus" was coined by the farmers to describe an offshoot
or a budding rice grain from the rice stalk. BIND adopted the word as the official
title for their magazine which coincide with its purpose -to give small farmers
a venue to express their new ideas and dreams on how to improve their way of
living.
